I tried to view it a few weeks back too but was faced with excuses from the seller stopping me from viewing. Admittedly it was last minute but you either want to sell a car or not.

You having a laugh mate ???? I'm sorry I have a life beyond cars and it wasn't a good time to view, a phone call saying your 20 mins away is far from short notice. I want to sell the car I told you you could view anytime after and I never herd back !

It's people like you that put me off selling it ! By your w steamer with a few grand that wants a cosy ! You told me you'd looked at loads an they where all shit, if you where serious you would have come back when it was convenient for me after all it is my saph !

Run the car knowing the cam belt is a little slack and risk it fucking up or would you rather him be honest, tell you and then sort it out before you turn up to view it?
When it comes to buying cars, in my experience, you actually arrange a time with the seller to come and view the car, not just phone them and tell them you'll be there in 20 minutes. People have other things going on in their lives other than cars. That's how I buy my cars anyway.
Just my thoughts.

Was in the area looking at another and asked if we could view. If it was a nice car then we could have come back when it was sorted. Had been to look at loads of dogs described as mint and fed up of driving up and down the country. Think it was even said that we would just look.
It was inconvenient for the seller, I understand that and its fair enough, so just say. Don't say yes, let us get on the way there and then call bad with poor excuses.
You are entitled to your thoughts, and of course you are going to jump on the defence of your mate, but it is what it is. If I'm a cunt for being in the area and wanting to view a car up for sale then so be it.

its a nice saph mate can't believe no one has snapped it up yet, just keep it and lock it up until it appreciates more in price when they have all rotted and command over 10k
seems a lot of people on here have done the same, end up keeping it, then a couple of months down the line someone will come across this thread and say "is this still for sale"happened with that white 3dr that was going cheap
or break it
but that would be a crying shame

I lost the love for it mate spent so much money on the saph, s2 & 2s1's, bought a house and need to get out the whole thing, maybe when I'm abit more settled with the house etc I may consider another
