i know the previous owner to this car you are saying its mintwhen you fully know it isnt it has rust under the rear arches and under the kit on the drivers side it has rust under the rear bumper you garage it because you know it might fall apart it was built as a track car it was sprayed but the rot didnt get taken out it was bodged to sell it you paid a cheap price for it now your asking for almost double the price and its true the car only made 275bhp its engine is standard it looks mint from outside but thats it guys this guy is a rip of merchant and i dont want some genuine guys getting ripped off! guys if its so mint why hasnt he kept it long? why has he never run it for a trackday that it looks like it was built for? he thinks its worth 8 grand why hasnt it sold? its a bodged car the previous owner gave up and just put it together with selling it in mind he has told him exactly what what and now this guy is going to upset the new owner i hate liars sorry. if its 305bhp u wanna get it checked up now you want rid of it because its 275bhp and dont bother sayin im jealous

Mate i have all the pics from the rebuild were all the kit was taken off. There is no rot anywhere uve either got the wrong car or just simply full of shit as i said before come and find the rot and I'll give you the car for free the engine is now way standard i have all the reciepts from the build for the pistons etc. And i have all the power graphs print outs etc.I'm sure Alan rose the chap who built would like to come on here and clarify weather the bullshit you are talking is true

And the reason i havnt had it long is because i originally put a deposit down on a black 3 door and on the day of collection the bloody thing wouldn't start then wouldn't run right i brought this s2 as a toy i'n the meantime to fill the empty gap i'n the garage and for somthing to use on a Sunday when I'm not out on the bike I'm in no way selling it caus there is anything wrong with it and i want rid this is not the case this is a clean unabused genuine car and if it don't sell then i ain't bothered it will just sit in the garage i'm not desperate for the money and don't need the agro off jealous twats off here

pics show no rot behind the bumper at all its 110% mint the paintwork behind the bumper is like brand new and theres is no rust/rot anywhere

Hi mate, hope you dont mind me saying,this is my old rs, i completely restored and built this over 6 years ago, it still looks as good as the day it was built, i can honestly say this car is mint and you wont find a better one! back then i spent over 12k building it! bet its a animal with the zetec in it now! nice to see it again ive always wondered where it went. ryan

oh yeh and for the tit above my mate martin is best mates with the guys at totd and who built this and totaly agrees with the owner that its proper mint....
he said that the only bad bit was the clutch couldnt keep up with the spec, but thats been changed???

the issue with clutch was it had an ap 4 paddle with a standard cover plate and just didnt have the clamping pressure but when i removed it i found a crack threw the centre of the drive plate so it was replaced with a genuine helix clutch plate and cover plate and ive not had a problem since and has never slipped

I'll be interested in the shell fully kitted, glazed and rolling if you do break.
I'd never get the money together you want for the complete car but was gutted when it left the TOTD camp as I had the opotunity to buy it at a very good price.
This car is a stunning piece of kit and is a credit to it's current and previous owners.
