lovely standard 4x4 sapphire cosworth PICS NOW ON
this has just come in so i will get some pics and upload them later on today.
j reg 4x4 sapphire cosworth in moonstone blue with a superb cloth trim.
this car has only had 5 owners, has full history, original panels and has hardly had any paintwork at all in its life from what i can see-maybe a couple of very minor blow ins and the bumper painted.
totally standard apart from a dump valve-even still has a standard exhaust fitted!engine is very sweet.
the bodywork is very straight and solid, strut tops are great.as its pretty much original there are a couple of very minor marks and tiny bubbles but its nothing to worry about and just adds to its superb original condition in my opinion.
comes with full mot.
price £6750 may consider a sensibly priced p/x

Sorry if I sound a bit naive but that seems serious money for a 4x4 that's not perfect.please don't take it as a criticism of the car but what sort of cash are you hoping to actually get for it as I know your cars are generally very well priced so u must be relativley confident?
It's more of a marker for me really as I've got an ebony one that's undergoing a bit of a resto now although on paper it's very similar to that one, hopefully good news if their going for that sort of money!!!!

i think a very good useable standard car thats got original panels and has a body that could be passed as 5 years old when its actually 20 years old with excellent history must be worth in the region of the sort of money im asking for this.
at the end of the day,how much of a 3 door cossie can you get for 6500 grand ish???-not much. especially when very good top end s2 escort rs turbos are that sort of money now,and a similar condition s1 rs turbo would be 7500!!

i think its worth more , in fact people will pay what they want for a car if they want something , as this looks a honest car not hideing anything like most are , and will only go up in money
in my opinion if you think its not worth it dont comment and most important dont buy it and go and look at another which will probably be shit

i think a "perfect" sapphire cosworth must be valued in the 8k upawards region quite easily.

I hope it didn't come across as critical,it just seems big money for one but as I said your always pretty bang on prices IMHO.
As I said,I've got one in ebony myself but wasn't expecting to get much more than 5k finished so this is good news for me!!
Good luck with the sale of a lovely car.

Well,i suppose everyone is entitled to their opinions.....
in my opinion i think that a very nice standard car is now very hard to find, and as time goes on they will get rarer, which in turn should make them more valuable.ive sold not as nice ones for more money in the past(they were still very nice cars).

im not a gobshite mate youknow fuckall about my financial situation just saying thats strong money for a standard saff, mines for sale on here with less owners loads of history rarer colour better spec for alot less money but people like you just kiss the "popular" traders arses , no offence jay your cars are usually well priced ive had a couple off you good luck with sale
but my car appeals to a totally different buyer to yours-someone who wants a standard car, and 4wd for starters.
i would like to think a very good standard version of any of the rs marques would be worth as a well modified one.

What the fuck is up with some of you people? Apart from a tiny bit of rot it looks fucking lovely!
Each to their own and all that but that car looks how a cos should STANDARD it looks a tidy useable car not something that needs to be left in a garage all year! I think a standard looking Cossie stands out alot more than one with after market wheels and gauges slapped around the dash as said each to their own good luck with the sale price is bang on imho.

your car is totally different to mine-although i am surprised you havent sold it.(if im to be critical,i think the alloys let it down-look like halfords specials!-but i would never say anything derogatory on your for sale ad)

+1
I would love to have the money for this. It is standard, not imaculate but you could USE it everyday without having to park it at the far end of the carpark. I much prefer to buy a car that is not "perfect" because you can use and enjoy it without feeling you are a custodian of a concours car.
Good luck with the sale and I hope whoever buys it enjoys driving the bloody thing!

from some of the comments i dont think people realise just how nice this car actually is.the bubble on the rear arch is very minimal(the pics was close up and makes it look bigger).the number of people who have been in work this week and just gone"wow".
its barely turned a wheel for the last 2 or so years.

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
This is a clean car for the mileage and age and with a full history, this is worth that to somebody that wants a car with full history.
How many are for sale with full history now and not mucked about with, not many and any that are cost more, just check the for sales.
Give the guy a break, someone who wants a standard car like this will buy it, end off.
