Mk3 cabriolet xr3i 85 46k history Wots it worth ?£250?Pls read 1st post
1985 C plate Got lots of receipts mots etc.
this Whole car is a project that i can't carry on with due 2 changes in circumstances
Exterior
Good there are a few small scabs on arches, drivers door has small hole, sills are in good solid, floor is solid, inside arches and wings solid,roof is realy good. could do wth a respray
clear indercaters
No bumpers,kit or grill
Underneath
will need some welding about 4/5in, other than very solid car.
Interior
front seat missing,
S1 stuff removed
Under bonnet
Could do with a new battery tray hasn't gone through body is solid. could do with a steam.
Engine
MFI xr3i 1.6 cvh 46k with receipts print outs mots etc
had immobiliser which i took off then could'nt start it again.
£250

Plenty of pics in m garage. it did run b4 i took the spark rite immobiliser of but couldn't get anything to work after (electrics not a strong point 4 me), th fuelpump and all have been taken off since to clean up th underneath.

So its a non runner, that needs welding? then its worth now where near £750 project or not
.. Mk3 S1 rep cabs were the done thing 3yrs ago but now orginality favours..
Parts wise you'd easy make back a good couple of hundred if all the right bits are in good condition.. but completre youd be lucky to see £500 IMO

I picked up my Cabby with 2 Months MOT, No Tax, solid underneath, good roof ie no leaks, for £300
Put it in for MOT and ll it needed were 2 rear brake hoses.
With yours as it it is i wouldn't expect much more than £400 for it

good luck with it.. tis a shame when cabs end up going that way but if it help keep a few more goin then its an added bonus

I've taken the bumpers & kit off, the recaros are coming out, 14" wheels are going back on, the black grill is going back on standard lights, basicaly it's just another abandoned non running mk3 cab project for
£250
