Hmmm not really but i've been offered a good flint grey shell that's been sitting for a while, should be solid, bt i know the doors and wings are rusty, so it'd be an easy fix by swappng them fro mine and getting the whole lot painted, rather than dicking around with a welder, and i'd be doing a mate a favour as it's got a private plate on it that he can't get of as it's got no mot.
Cheers, glad to hear you got it shifted mate. Did you get another project???
Time of year and my location in the north probably doesn't help, still making plans to get it fixed in the meantime, so depends if a buyer comes along before then.
Rog, if you hang on to it for 12 months I'll take it, as I won't be skint then. I don't mind a little road trip to get it (why do people say "It's too far"?), might need to renew my passport first though. I trolled up to Kinloss in a Transit a while ago, so Aberdeen would be a walk in the park.
Still have to get "pics of the crank" Lol (as per the tag)
Dunno how long I'll keep it mate, i was ideally needing to buy another car in the summer and this would part finance that, but you never know.

Cool
BTW, pics of the engine's crank, not pics of your crank.
Welding and other MOT bits will be getting seen to in a couple of weeks if this isn't sold by then, so if you want it at this price then you better hurry up. Will be coming off the market if i go ahead with fixing it.
Been offered 2.5k cash for this and turned it down, asking price is firm and fair for what needs doing.
RSLUBBY, still considering what I'm going to do, got my eye on an M5 to replace the mrs daily runner, but i still want a 3 door too. But a white 3 door would be nice!!!!
Its a cheap car pitty your just so far. Havent got the time to borrow a trailer and drive the 50mile an hour home need to sell the 3dr first but just what im looking for as going to build a caged track car/street fighter and this would be perfect.
Let me know f your interested and change your mind would defo be up for a deal mate.
Good luck not that youll need it and by the looks of things work will be done soon and the price going up.
Its so cheap maybe putting peeps off etc. Safs all of a sudden seem to be rising in money and you just dont see them at this money anymore.
Should be starting more work on it next week, if you want it cheap then you've got until i take the suspension off, as my mate will be welding the chassis rail after that.
i want the car mate, got the money just trying to sort out a lift, when you goning to start fixing will probably be a week before i can get up. Any history or reciepts with it?
$3500 CDN and some guy will come to your house and drive it on to a really big boat.
Half the price of shipping cars to me is getting it across Canada. The other side of Canada is halfway to England! I always fancied buying a car, shipping it on the cheap then driving it the other 6120kms home. LOL.
Who here would drive THAT far for a cossie?
I've done something like for MY cossie. I've also landed at Gatwick, went to some magazine office and then off to where Croft is and back.. I'd drive up to get that car if I had the funds.
