2000(x) Escort Van - Cambs - £700ono
My dad has bought my seat inca off me so he doesnt need this anymore.
MOT - Mid Feb
Tax - Feb
Mileage - 97000
Pretty sure its got a little bit of service history but we have had it for so long and have always serviced it our selves.
Its a 1.8D (non turbo)
Always been serviced, not long had a full service, oil, filters along with cambelt and tensioner as the tensioner is normally the problem on these engines
Has power steering but windows are manual
Do have all the wheels centre caps but they arent all fitted in the pictures for some reason. Tyres are all good and have plenty of miles left in them, brakes all good etc
Recently had an alternator belt tensioner too at around £80 I think it was.
Engine runs well, always starts well, keeps the right temp, gets up to temp nice and quick to keep you toasting in the winter. AMAZING on fuel sometimes I think it actually runs on air does loads to the gallon.
Good tow bar and full electrics
Interior is in really really good condition for a van as dad always had seat covers on it and hes had the van since it was on 60k so the seats have always been kept clean.
Fully ply-lined in the back & solid doors. NEVER carried any heavy loads so no sagging suspension etc.
Dog gaurd and bulkhead
Recently had a new windscreen
Everything works as it should, no major problems.
Only little niggles I can think of is, slightly noisy alternator bearing when its cold but goes away once its warmed up, a lot of escort vans seem to do this and even dads inca does it haha.
Going slightly brown around the edges like most escort vans do after a while
But the good points are its still a low mileage van with plenty of life left in it yet and is cheap considering its year.

I've got a van very similar to this, and I'm using it for work most of the time now because they're really easy to look after, cost absolutely bugger all the run, and have a great heater in this weather!
And I paid a fair bit more than this for mine, so it's obviously a bargain!
