well it just seems that way.
ive got a near mint mk1 showcar with shed loads of money and hours spent on it and cant get £1700.
a scrap $hit heap of a saff cossie with blown engine knackered suspension goes for £3599.

Im quite surprised you cant get what your asking phil. imho, it looks very nice, its had a hell of a lot of time and money put in it, gets a lot of attention, and as its already proved, its a trophey winner. id snap your arm of mate if i had 1700 sheets sat doing nothing, its different. i thought one of the lads off the mondy forums would have bought it by now tbh.

once you get a car done like this theres only 2 ways you can go,out and out track use or street legal for ferrying kids and doing the shopping.

Ok update:
Im considering keeping the car.
If no action 3 hours before end of auction tomorrow eve i will pull it.
This car is just way too good to chuck away as they are becoming rarer by the minute in this cond...AND ITS ONLY DONE 90K IN 15 YEARS......phil

Leave it on there mate! It's still got over a day left and as you've said it's probably a case where you'll probably get a load of bids last minute. Bit of a gamble, but it's an auction after all.
Besides, worst case, the starting and only bid is only a couple of hundred quid off what you said you wanted for it!

cant beleive this hasnt flown.to do this to a normal spec mondeo would cost over £3000.£1700 for a mint showcar!!!!!!!!

the fwd mk1 any rouse tourers got better lap times than the rs500 sierra tourers, and had 200bhp less! just shows how good rwd really is

yeah me too.i deffo will not be modding any more mondeos.
some one stated on a mondy club mint very rare mondeo showcars dont sell but shitheap rustbucket saffs sell for quadruple.weird how some ford owners look upon some fords.
this car is rarer than any escort or sierra cosworth will EVER be and i seriously struggled to get £1600 for it.fcukkin weird.
