The time has come to sell my much loved Escort RS Turbo to help fund buying my first house.
Brief spec is as follows, I am happy to answer any questions but strictly no timewasters please!
Engine: Ian howell 2.0 zvh, stage 3 CHD head, Kent CVH35 cam, vernier pulley, stage 2 turbo, GRS alloy intercooler and slim fan, pace alloy radiator, Scorpion exhaust, K+N, Silicone hoses, Bailey tanks etc. Reconditioned gearbox (with Ł600 bill), AP 4 paddle clutch, quick shift. All receipts for engine build etc.
Power output: 238.5bhp and 244.9lbft torque at 14psi
Interior: Very good condition 90 spec, MPS half polished show cage, boost gauge, ACT gauge, turbo timer in custom centre consul pocket and custom speaker pods, stealth shelf.
Suspension: Avo springs, Koni shocks, front alloy strut brace, fully polybushed and painted components.
Brakes: 4wd Cosworth front callipers, drilled/grooved discs, 2wd Cosworth rear callipers and drilled/grooved discs, braided hoses.
17" alloys in anthracite, good Toyo T1-R Tyres all round, genuine Ford mud flaps.
Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser with certificate, 2 sets of keys and 2 alarm fobs.
Full repaint/resto in 2004/2005 including, new bonnet, doors and rear arches. New door seals, windscreen etc. Always garaged and very well looked after, seats always have covers on when used. Looks as nice in the flesh as it does in the pics.
Engine and majority of running gear covered approx 16k miles since fitted.
MOT March 2010 and TAX till Feburary 2010.
Featured in Fast Ford modifying guide February 2006.
The car gets serviced and a set up/check over at the beginning of each summer despite the mileage it has done, always run on optimax and left to warm up/cool down etc and i don't drive it hard all the time for no reason, only when there's a need to
Does go very well and is very driveable, has been commented on many times.
I have taken the car to Ford Fair at Silverstone 4 years in a row now including last week, which was about a 600 mile round trip and have had no problems, even averaged about 34mpg which i was chuffed with.
I have an A4 folder full of receipts, bills, paperwork, old mot's etc
Any one genuinely interest I will be happy to talk.
Price Ł4800 ono
Call Mark - 07756703732
I am thinking about getting a Transit Connect when i sell this as it would be handy for moving house stuff around and mountain bikes etc, so will possibily take one on a p/x.

I feel sorry for ya with all the time wasters, had the same when I sold mine, I brought a saph cosi, but thinking wish I kept the rs. I'm building a mk1 fiesta at mo have started a thread. should be finished in couple of months, think I sell that and buy another one or sell the cos. can't belive you have not sold it, thing is people will buy one for Ł2200 Ł2500 and needs bit of work. its not alot of money for what it is. as for distance being a factor for some people I would travel anywhere for the right car. I love it. I cant get a loan, couldn't you and keep her.

Took a deposit this morning so hopefully I wont have to deal with any more timewasters at least!
Cheers, Mark
