Focus RS
Time to sell on the Focus RS, its done what is needed for the past year and now something sensible is required, so time for sale.
the car has just tipped over 80k.
a full years MOT.
only a months Tax.
when i first bought the car 10 months ago it was given a full complete major service, including all filters, cambelt etc.
and recently just been given a base service of oil and filter, plugs etc.
Brand new discs and pads all round when purchased, then 2 months later fitted with AP 362mm 6 pots (CP7040's)
after reading on the RSOC of what fails or suffers wear and tear i then had all the following components replaced -
Lower front Ball joints.
Steering Arms.
track rod ends.
front ARB drop links.
front strut top mounts and bearings.
complete front end treated to powerflex polybushes
rear ARB polly bushes
rear ARB drop link bushes.
rear engine stabilizer bush.
the car has also been treated to the lower front carbon lip spoiler, carbon fog light shrouds and carbon bumper side gills.
its on standard Sachs shocks but now has H&R springs fitted (aprox 20mm lower)
base map altered to the other ford alternative of AE and then had Tuna installed.
Ford Motorsport Tubular Manifold.
Uprated Forge Actuator.
K&N Gen 2 cone kit.
firmer Silicon intake hose between air filter and Turbo (as the standards anr known to collapse)
Full Mongoose system.
New standard fuel pump as the one fitted was getting a little lazy.
boost then set at 21 -22 Psi by Rob @ SCC.
Car @ Reyland previously made 263bhp & 312lbft set at only 12psi and before the new fuel pump was fitted and then set up at SCC.
headlights painted satin black inside by the Twins.
A pillar pod with 52mm Stack Boost gauge fabricated by the Twins.
Dash surround enclose Fabricated to house a Scan Gauge within the cointray section (Similar to a Secs monitor - fault diagnostics and ECU display etc)
8x18" Comp MO's in an et35 to fill the arches nicer, painted in a custom colour of my choice (1/2 litre of paint can be supplied if required)
Brand new Yoki Parada's fitted at the time.
Black wheels nuts and Carbon Centre Caps.
Recently had a new AP organic/uprated clutch, Slave cylinder and whilst doing this the gear linkage cables looked a little worn so they were also replaced.
Car otherwise looks very good, is in overal very good condition and does go like a rocket
has the usual 6 discs dash stereo and steering wheel controls
as you can see its been very well cared for and had a fair bit of time and money thrown at it in a short period to make it as good as it is now
Looking for £9500ono, but price can be negotiated with some of the goodies being removed.
open to a P/X on a decent low mileage Warrior/Trojan/Animal and cash my way.
Number plate not included in the sale.
and for those that curious how well they go or handle, the car even managed a sub 9 minute at the ring
any questions then just ask, as im certain ive forgotten plenty about the car
Cheers

Steven, nothing toy related, it's got to be sensible and practical and far from expensive.
I need something that can be use daily, tow the Escos to and from track days etc and if redundancies do happen at work then something I can then use work wise easily aswell - ie: warrior/animal/Trojan as mentioned in the first post

Ah, i looked twice and didn't see that! Very well specced FRS and sensible price, now looking to sell my 2.0zvh series 2 and always fancied going for one of these next, although i really should save the money toward house deposit

Cheers Guys
if anyone is interested, the car can be up for sale @ £8,250 with standard brakes, suspension, and without the boost gauge and scangauge.
hopefuly that may make it more price appealing for someone

Yes mate, at £8250 I'll leave the wheels on, but as written above the brakes, suspension and 2 guages/panels will be removed.
It will then have standard Brembo 4 pots and standard springs refitted.
Original plate is VK53 HXL
