I bought this bout 2 months ago to use as a track car but my cossie has been completed earlier than thought. ive known it as its been local all its life to a old boy in the town who bought it from dealer at 7 months old.
it was covered in green stuff when i bought it as it got stood while the owner went away on work but decided to not come back for a long time.
dont expect a brillaint condition car cos its not but its not the worst about. tbh it will be ideal to eiter track or break or a proper resto if anyones into it.
i bought it as a none runner even tho it was running when left stood.
Busseys ford done head gasket 4 weeks before it went off the road aswell.
it has a ammobiliser aswell that works
all electrics seem to work ok.
i put clean fuel in and spark plugs but the fuel pump was siezes so my mate quickly run a temp one to the car to try and yes it fired up i only kept it running 20-30 seconds as i wanted to change the cambelt so i know it starts and ive been towed in it at a fair speed and it has no knocks ot bangs.
its completely standard apart from stainless and modified front arches.
so in all it needs a good service and a new pump.
obviously no mot or tax so need to be trailored.
i have the logbook which still says one owner and old mot`s.
its has rust on rear arch and underneath were chassis rails are.
all tyres are fairly good and has a spare aswell.
fisrt come first served.

thanks

I love them arches, that's what the Sapphire should have been like from new. Save all the hassle we have with tyres scrubbing the bodywork. Look boss too. Shame they don't unbolt or I'd have them when this breaks
