Escort rs turbo 1990 spec, radiant red, will need to dig out paperwork but low owners, around 6 iirc, 90k miles, loads of history, abandoned project but still pretty much a complete car with full interior, haven’t really changed anything from the dashboard back to the rear of the car, good solid shell, very tiny bit of peeling starting on rear chassis rails, that’s all, has had 2 new genuine ford headlight panels, new scuttle panel and an rs1600i battery tray (battery relocated in boot, wiring will stay) roof has been painted before but is starting to bubble again behind the sunroof so will need doing again really, scuttle needs painting, will also need a windscreen. Will be rolling on steels, complete koni suspension, lowered a bit, fully polybushed front end including brand new genuine ford steering rack with polybushes and brand new genuine ford track rod ends and new track control arms. To get it back on the road it will need the following: engine, gearbox, engine management and engine loom, rad, intercooler, boost and water hoses, turbo, headlights, front bumper. Comes with brand new gen ford indicators, have tidied up the existing wiring for the lights, indicators, horn etc with new tape. Will also need front brakes – discs and calipers. Will also leave the servo with polished master cylinder plus the complete braided brake line setup which is the whole front end including plumbed in lines for a rear bias valve mounted on the centre console. Some pics:
Pretty much how it will look plus the braided brake hoses:
Wanting around 800 for it now with all the bits… Maybe swap/px for something, wot u got…??

all it needs is an engine, box (altho i may be selling my christian built box) management, engine loom, exhaust and front brakes...
have stripped away all the mfi part of the loom so its just the lights, horn etc left in the engine bay...
ideal reshell for someone with a rotted shell,at great money aswell, only thing putting people off i reckon will be the no front bumper, being red its gonna need a spray job to match the bumper
still if someones thinkin of restoring theres then theyd be takin onto consideration of painting anyway
