2002 CITROEN SAXO VTR BLACK - 1.6 8v - PRICE DROP - MUST GO!
Here I have for sale my pride and joy!!!
I have owned this car since February 2007 and bought it from a good friend who did all the modifications. The car had 58,000 miles on at the time and in the time I have had it I have only done just under 7,000 miles, which I think is good for my daily driver car.
I use the car 5 days a week to drive to work and at the weekends i use my bike. I have recently bought another car and thought i could afford to run the two. But with petrol prices increasing i thought i would sell this to free up some money as it is worth more.
In the time i have had the car i have haven’t had any trouble with it and it has never let me down (not that i expect a 2002 car to do so).
I have £100's worth of receipts from my mate when i bought the car which shows exactly what the car has and a lot of the items have warranty still.

- Lowered 60mm all around
- Rear tinted lights
- Clear Side Repeaters
- 2 x Leather TV/LCD headrests (connect to the PS2)
- 1 LCD folding screen in front of dash (scratch on the screen but doest effect viewing, the button sticks due to my mate pressing it in to hard) - (connected to the PS2)
- PS2 in the boot with Sub and 2 x amps
- Power cap and fan for cooling and so the battery doesn’t ever run out with the ps2 on etc.
- 6 x 9's on the parcel shelf
- 2 x tweeters up front
- Full alarm system and immobiliser
- Central Locking
- No silly mods or tampering with the engine
- Cam belt changed at 60,000 miles
- CD player in the glove box and still loads of room for storage
- Set of 4 tailored black car mats
- 2 x front waterproof seat covers
- 15" Wolfrace Mantis Alloys (usual kerbing but good condition)
- Callipers and discs all around (red)
- De-wipered at the rear
- Professionally debadged to the rear
- Professionally de locked and smoothed
- Police alternate flashing headlights for meets etc.
- Stainless steel straight through exhaust system with sports cat (not too loud - lifetime warranty)
- Last Serviced 2,000 miles ago
- Boot Build
As with all cars there are minor problems and there are a few with this but nothing detrimental...
The car was knocked into when parked in a car park at the cinema by somebody (unknown) and it left a small dint on the door you can see in the picture. It was hammered out mostly by a mate who has a body shop and resprayed. The rear bumper was scraped a little.
- The alloys have slight kerbings
- Usual stone chips
- The car was egged before i had it and has a mark on the passenger side
- The drivers seat needs tightening as it squeaks (torx screwdriver, but mine are too big - 5 min job with the right tool
- The drivers door closes, but sometimes it only closes on the 2nd latch and needs moving up - again a 5 min job with a torx screwdriver
The cars tax is due to expire 31/08/2008 but i can put another 6months on it if i get the right price.
