escort xr3i cabriolet, excellent cond.
i bought this for my wife and it has never once let her down. however she decided she wanted a newer cabriolet this year so yesterday we purchased a 98 golf avantgarde cabriolet so the xr3i is up for sale.
The xr3i is in fantastic condition for a 18 year old car (garaged all it's life with only 4 owners from new)
6 months tax and test
Last year it was fitted with a new power hood at a cost of £800 (receipt and guarantee are in the service history file)
Full service history aswell as a ring folder filled with receipts, old mot's, tax discs etc etc
Power hood, Power windows, central locking
heated front and rear screen's
very rare optional extra of headlight washers built into the front bumper
80k miles
Sony CD player
V5 is present
Cat 1 securty (with certificate)
completely unmolested and factory standard (with the exception of clear indicators & repeaters)
also includes the original torneo hood cover for when you have the top off.
The car has only 1 minor fault and that is, it needs a new fuel presseure regulator as it is overfuelling. still drives fine with no knocks rattles or noisy tappets it just has a little splutter up to 2.5-3k revs as there is too much fuel going in. after it hits 3k it pulls like a train!
there is a tiny little spot of rust on the drivers door that you can just see in the pics, the door is painted by benfield bodyshop on saturday so please take no notice as it will be like new for the new owner.
i need a quick sale so it is priced to sell on passionford, the lowest i will take is £1200 so please no stupid offers, it is advertised elsewhere for £1500.
