STANDARD 2WD SAPPHIRE 61000 miles.NOW WITH BETTER PICS
rare mercury grey e reg 2wd cossie.
mileage 61000,unfortunately not much history but the car drives like a low mileage unmodified car,lovely and tight.
owned by ford for first 12 months then bought by last owner who bought it through his company then when he sold his company changed the name to his own on the v5(old v5 to prove),so really a one owner car.
it had been garaged for the last 5 years as the guy didnt use it but couldnt bring himself to sell it,he mot'd it every year still and that was the only run it really got.the owner was well into his 50's so not been had by the boy racers.it is completely standard,even down to the standard exhaust!
he had originally decided to keep the car so he had the head gasket replaced,new radiator and timing belt,and fresh mot,but then realised he would still never use it,which is when i bought it.he had an imprea p1 as well!
i then booked it in for some paintwork to be freshened up and it now looks great.wasnt that bad in the first place,just a few little areas that were scuffed etc.
its also just had new dist cap/rotor arm,plugs,oil and filter,rad fan switch.
ive also just fitted an excellent set of standard alloys as the others were showing their age.
interior is very good,drivers seat is slightly worn but i have sourced a mint one so that will be fitted before it goes.
it looks lovely now-orange indicators,standard exhaust,low miles,good colour-not many left like this.original wings.hpi clear.long mot and taxed until feb.
may consider a p/x.
price £5695
not got any pics of it as it is now as ive only just decided to sell(i need to buy a new garage at home and its over £3000
