Right then, I'll put my few penneth in again. I've had 2 very nice Escort Cosworths so I think I know what I'm talking about.
Let's be honest, this is not a £10k-£11k car, it's one of the best around, but I think 19k is just a touch too much to get people hooked, but it looks like there is a bit of room for manouvre as it's ono.
Looking at the condition, the mileage and that it's a well known car in the club, and the fact that if James bought it you know it must be spotless to say the least because he would no way have bought it if it hadn't been, I would say high 17s to £18k is where it should be to get a sale. I think it was around that sort of money N300 BHP went for a while ago and it was a minter too. I really think just a touch off it will get it sold.
I won't pay over the odds for anything but I reckon that's what this is worth looking at the market and the fact it's got to be one of the top 10 best Escort Cosworths around. And the fact that it's well known in the club counts for something I think, rather than punting out on something through Autotrader.

Trev,
The ONO is there for a potential buyer to haggle a deal with the seller, My gripe is people post things about it been too expensive etc instead of contacting the buyer. Just makes me think people are just dreamers............
Trev your fair in what youve put and N300 was a mint car. I think the market has slowed abit , but i do think there are buyers out there for the cars forsale.
James's car is proberly the most desireable with the Colour, leather, Air, etc etc and IMO can command that bit more.
JAMES : I wont hi-jack this thread anymore!

At the end of the day I can only price my car at what I think it's worth, if a potential buyer thinks it's priced too highly then I can always come down a tocuh, but if I price it too low I can never go up.
In my opinion my car is about the money it should be and I'm sure the first genuine person to view the car will buy it.

This car is worth 19k all day mate.
Sold mine last year for just under 18k as i wanted a quick sale.
Stick to your guns James, its worth that sort of cash. Cars like this are getting even rarer now
Most desireable colour too mate. Wish i had 19k.
