I don't have the know how or the place to do any work on it.
I believe the problem is the starter motor, but I don't know for 100%, my dad thinks it's the ignition.
You can't hotwire it or jump start it, but it will start when towed or bumped.
All the electrics work, just the engine doesn't turn over from ignition.

Once running, it's fine.

I never had any problems with this car until it had to sit out on my dads drive for 6 weeks after it got broken into.
hence the passenger door needs a liitle work (they cut the lock out of it) and the underside of the steering column casing has been removed.

MOT expired on 27th March, tax expired 31st March.

So if someone wants to have a "fix up and sell on project" or wants to take it for spares make me an offer.

also lol its not a mk5 b, its just a normal mk5. the mkb had different rear end and bonnet etc

pics were taken in hinckley, but I'm near Warwick.

and the discussion about it being a mk5a or mk5b have been had else where.

I had a mk5a before that and according to the ford manual that one is the higher level mk5 and the previous one was the lower spec mk5.

I'll freely admit I don't know much but I'm just going by the original ford manual
