but pauls car was built as a track car..the difference was you were running about in that escort as a s1 turbo on the book..& selling it as a series 1..the advert i seen for pauls car explained it wasnt a cosworth on the book...

yes it is a ringer you dumb fuck. its an xr3 shell with another cars (series s1) chasis numbers welded to it.

But i told the new owner that it was on an rs2000 logbook as i built the car from a complete bare new shell it is not a ringer in any way as i didnt try to sell it as a gen escoss simply a reshelled rs2000

Good luck on the sale Andy.
As said many times before, the build of the car is very good and there's no doubting the quality of finish or how it looks

BUT the fact it is on a genuine S1 registration and id when it isn't a genuine S1 shell gives the car it's bad side. Personally I think you're doing the right thing selling it as a breaker.
All depends if the buyer does the right thing now and strips it & get the shell on a Q plate and not try to pass on as a gen S1 again.

When this was in Fast Ford it was on a B plate with its original i.d. So whys some one gone and fucked it up? Good look with the sale mate, hope it gets put back on its original i.d or given a new one legally as it would be a shame to see it broke.

yes it can be made legal if you get dvla to check it, but would go onto a Q plate
