What do yoe think my Escos is worth?? Pics & spec
Well shes been in storage since last september and I've never used her
I bought an E46 M3 in Jan this year and its a lovely car but I'm really tempted to chop the M3 in, sell the Escos and get either an M3 CSL or a porsche 911..........
The spec of the Escos is:
400BHP SCS Harvey Gibbs rebuild and large turbo conversion done in 2003 costing £9500 in total!!
Full concours rebuild on the WHOLE car.
380mm AP front brakes and 330mm AP rear brakes
Gaz coilovers
Loads of chrome and stainless steel under bonnet
RS500 i/c and alloy rad
Defi's
Alpine music
++++ SO MUCH MORE!!!!!
She stands me over £40k in nearly 4 years of owning her.
a few pics.
What do you think she's worth?
She has not got the OZ wheels anymore as I sold them to my mate as she goes on axle stands for the winter but she's been on them since September 2005
I have regularly started her up and let her tick over but she has developed a fluid leak. Not engine oil, think it may be power steering or front diff oil?? I would fix this obviously. I'd also sort new wheels out too
Come on then guys, honest opinions on what she'd fetch if I was to sell her in the spring??

PassionFord Post Whore!!
I honestly think its going to be a hard motor to shift, not because there is anything wrong with it but due to the fact its immaculate with ££££££££ of performance bits on it. The market is narowed down to someone who wants to spend top money on a escos, then narrowed down again to someone who wants a modded one.
Good look with the sale mate but imo it will take a while

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
If it was mine I'd be saying it's worth £20k+ but if it's not mine and I wanted it then I would say £16k and I think that's your problem.....
Fucking immense car though , seen it a few times in the flesh and just LOVED it, if I was in the market I would have to think if I bought another then what would I be paying to get it to that spec, as ultimately your spec is where I would want an EsCos
Good luck whatever you decide, but if it was my car WOULD I FUCK BE SELLING IT, use it and get it dirty!!!

scott 25k +, but will probley take a while to shift as been allready said, as bad as it sounds but to get it sold quick, breaking it or putting it to a low spec whould allso be an idea. But i say keep it, get it back on the road and use it next year, as you know i have allso been thinking about getting rid off my escort and focus and getting a GT2 but dont think i could part with my escort yet.
Use it and see how you feel then make your mind up

thats the problem m8
Got to be worth 20k+
but anything over 18k really reduces the pool of potential buyers out there

No way could I break her up! Far too nice a car for her to be raped and sold off in bits, its not all about getting the most money at any cost to me; a fair price that reflects the condition, mods and desirability of her would see me sell her. I have thought somewhere in the region of £20k-£25k but would depend on finding that certain someone out there that wants such a car
