RS 2000 MK5 £1350
here for sale is my beloved RS 2000. this car is basically my day to day car in the week and i had a rs turbo for the weekend. me and the other half decided to get ourselves something newer like a astra coupe or a golf gti / gtl turbo so ive sold the rs turbo and my cabs and now its time to sell this .
the car itself is in what i would describe as good condition .it polishes up nice and shiney and looks lovely on a sunny day . ive had loads and loads of escorts of all description and this one is a good example . it has a scab of rust on the passenger rear arch which lets it down and the wheels have the usual laquar peel so if i was keeping it longer id probably get them done . the car of course has a couple of little car park dinks but nothing that stands out . and again stone chipping but at the end of the its a 14 year old car and it definitly has done better than most others of the same age. it has been fitted with a scopion exhaust and thats really the only mod. apart from it having clear indicators but this makes the front end appear nicer in my view.
it has the normal electric windows, electric mirrors heated front and rear screen. it has a alarm fitted which also does the central locking off the fob.
a couple of things do let the car down slightly but they are minor. the washer jets dont work but to be honest ive never really looked in to why ?? and the other thing is the coolant fan on the rad is wired in so its always on ?? its always been like that and it doesnt really bother me cos it keeps the car cool but i thought id be honest and mention it ?
it has 3 mot with it and loads of receipts for various bits its had changed . its had a oil and filter change earlier this year and its alsao had the cambelt down about 2000 miles ago but i dont have a reciept to prove this cos it was done for cash but your more than happy to come round and have a look.
it doesnt have a stereo to go with it and the rear shelf has 6x9 holes in it but i will try and get another shelf if needed.
