SOLD For Sale -1990 H registered Escort RS Turbo RED SOLD
Reluctant Sale of my Escort RS Turbo due to house purchase

Originally purchased from Days of Swansea (with orginal Ford Wallet and outlet information). Car has remained local (South Wales) all its life.
7 previous owners.
Car has covered 120k
History:
Lots! Folder full of bills and receipts quite a few from Fords/Fordthorne documenting its service and history. Havent completely totalled it but with some of the bills, its amounting to £'000's!
As above, Ford Leather Wallet and Ford Manuals present.
Engine:
Just been run in - due its final service now (which will be done for the sale). 0.5 overbore, new pistons, oil pump, water pump, ARP bottom end fixings and head bolts. Group A head gasket. New sensors and diesel starter motor too.
Head has been completely rebuilt with a new standard cam.
*Optional New (with receipt) S2 Pace intercooler
Samco top boose hose * K&N filter ( have all original parts)
Scorpian S/S Exhaust with 3.5" Tail pipe
Running on Mobile 1.
Car also had a brand new Turbo Technics Turbo - with receipt and documentation for £350.00
Car has never been chipped - has been checked over by interpro when it needed a new fuel ECU @ £712.00 for these works!! limits set to 7 psi.
Car starts at the turn of the key, REALLY quiet and pulls well
Gearbox:
Rebuilt replacement unit fitted @ cost of £411.00
New standard performance clutch
Cooling:
Summer Thermostat with new rad. Had car idling for over 30 mins in the heat - Temperatures reach normal and fan cuts in as it should
Bodywork:
Radient Red (Resprayed to an excellent standard)
Hardley any stone chips ( i mean I could count them on 1 hand
). There are a few bubles coming by the sunroof. McGuires polished and waxed and polished and waxed and polished and waxed ............ 
However, the car is extreemly straight with original wings/front panel etc.
Battery tray is excellent.....
as is fuse box......
The car has been welded previously on the sills. I cant see any more that will be required for the next MOT - the floor has now been waxoiled (not schultzed!! to hide
)
Interior
Very good 90 spec seats and door cards. Minimal sagging I would say

The door cards have been fitted with JBL tweeters which I am sure I have another set of cards if required!!
4 spoke steering wheel
white dial kit (not particually my taste!)
Wheels:
Voodoo's not with it im affraid
Standards supplied - all 90 stamped with Goodyear NCT tyres (original fitment)
Brakes:
Torrox grooved disks and accompanying pads.
New brake master cylinder
Suspension:
Standard! Has had new shocks on the rear and wheelbearings
Tax:
1st July
MOT:
January 2007
Security:
Toad Cat 1 (with Lifetime Warrenty) and accompanying VSIB Cert
Cat 2 immobiliser and accompanying VSIB Cert
Probably missed LOADS out. Having sold my last S2 (H*AUL), I did look and found lots of rubbish - really struggled to find this one!! Its by no means a concourse example but the car is an excellent unabused example.
I have an AA datacheck (all clear) but interests are welcome to do their own

don't think it is as clean as my black S2, funnily enough which used to wear the reg H* AUL.
with your old ( mine now
) and your current projects i would not have any doubt in assuming this is a genuine example and best of luck with the sale.
you really do keep your cars in excellent condition and bar any time wasters this car should fly out the door.
still have the 4x4????

I was going to ask which cars you have now but i see in your siggy! Whats the top one then? B8...?
I see that the black rst went to the guy above? And the saff went to gazcos? They were stunning

Very nice m8. quite tempted to buy a S2 at the moment, as im moving house. and just sold my cosworth to fund it. Will have to speak nice to the wife .. GOOD LUCK with the sale...Think yours looks a very nice example
