The car is completely standard bar the H&R Coilover Suspension, the
15inch compomotive Mo's and the Cosworth front Breaks. The engine has
covered 68000 miles, which I believe to be genuine, however I have no
service history with the car. I'm the second owner in the cars life, the
previous owner was a woman and she told me she lost the service book in
a flit, but assured me she had it serviced on regular intervals and I do
believe her as the car drives like a new car, there is even still an
original sticker in the engine bay. The car has had regular service from
myself and I change the oil every 3000 miles, which is due to get done
so I will change before I sell the car.
The car was fully wax oiled from new and you can tell. Believe me when I
say this car is solid underneath. The floor pan is in the best condition
I have ever seen on a MK3 fiesta. Also there is no rust on any of the
body, the car is mint.
The interior is standard bar a boost gauge mounted where the clock was.
Not a mark on any of the seats the seat bolster on the drivers side is
not even burst. The only blemish on the interior is the steering wheel
leather is starting to deteriorate. Understandable in a car 15years old.
The only bad point I can think of is the passenger door needs oiled, as
it's a bit sticky, the petrol gauge does not work. Long story short the
old pump failed and I had a cosworth pump attached to a different sender
unit that I put in the tank. However I do still have the original sender
unit just to lazy to change it.
The car has about 6months tax left and about 5months MOT. I can put a
full MOT on if required, as I know the car will sale through a MOT.
And Breath, that’s all I can think of just now, I will get photos of the
engine bay, underneath the car and the interior as soon as I get a
chance.
