I've decided to sell my Mk2 Escort RS2000 rolling shell that I have recently purchased. Due to time, money etc and the fact that the XR2 isnt finished yet i know its going to sit at home for a long time doing nothing! The shell is a genuine RS2000 shell in primer which has been dry stored since 1993 (13 years!!!!!!). It is currently on 1.3 VIN tags due to the fact that the 1.3 the original owner had was going to be reshelled into this one. She said that she has the original rs2k vins somewhere and will dig them out. It is a 100% gen. shell though with the strenghened inner wings etc etc.... Also a sturdy rollcage is fitted in the back. Rust wise there is booger all except for a small hole in the passenger kickwell (size of a ten pence piece). I was going to completely replace the panel as it was only £17!! Both sides are completley straight as is the rear. It also has a sunroof. Also comes with front bumper and lights, suspension, rear lowering blocks, dashboard with 3 gauge pod thing, a pair of retro style bucket seats, glass and rubbers, door handles, boot handle, steering wheel, doorcards etc. The bonnet in the pics will not be sold with the car as someone from this board wants it, but a standard non vented one will be included. Engine wise it has a 2l Pinto with the single twin choke Weber carb. Also it has a 5 speed gearbox and a brand new clutch. never heard engine run so cannot guarantee its condition. Engine and box are currently out of the car so engine bay inspection can be done. With all of the bits im after £1200 for the lot. For just the rolling shell id take £800. A part ex with another car is possible but must be in a driveable state with mot etc....
