my xr2i is a rot box so was going to reshel her but am having troble getting a doner

my other chance of geting her on the road is teach my self to weld so a cheep welder would be handy instead.

tried local garages to do the work mate on the cheap or a local mechanic as a homer or that?

if all else fails, try gumtree for cheap welders.

if you decide to break the car let me know as i'll take a fair few bits off you mate.

had a cople of quotes but cash has been tight

did once think about breaking her but changed mind.

ive always been leening towards welding her myself so think that might be the outcome.

knowing my luck ill be half way throw the welding and i will get offered half a dozen shells

If the shell is rotten you cant really do anymore damage to it soo it worth it just for the practice. Ive bin welding for years but i aint got any gear no more to do it as i lost my garage . Best thing to do if ya get a welder yourself get hold of a bike or something and practice with that first. Till ya get rid of the bird poo welds and start making it tidy
