I'm after a car for a charity run next year, but it can't cost more than £100. I'm able to pay for repairs and MOT/TAX etc afterwards, but the car must initially be less than £100. It's not until next Autumn, but depending on what I get I might need a long time repairing it so thought i'd start looking now.
Ideally i'd like an Escort as i've had a fair few of them already, but am open to RS500 and Sierra Cosworths too if that's all I get offered.

I've decided what I want now. I'm after a Sierra Sapphire 1.8 or 2L. Only needs enough tax and MOT for me to get it home. I can go a bit over budget, but it's got to look like I might have been able to buy it for £100.

Thanks Barry for the offer, but i'd probably need something a little more powerful for the trip. I didn't even know they made a 1300cc Escort estate in '98.

I've changed the title now as I might need to spend a bit more for something drivable. I can go upto a few hundred for the right one, as i've seen a few for about £300 with RS bodykit and £400 with RS kit and leather trim, so what is available now.
