Default newbiee here :)

hello, im 17 and live in cheltenham

i have a bit of knowledge of cars and motorbikes as i used to ride a motorcycle up until someone pulled out on me a few weeks back, as a result of this i am getting quite a good pay out from him as it was his fault.

right now im going to be getting a mk4 escort soon either a 3 or 5 door its going to be a 1.4 or higher as it hear they have the same mounts as the rs turbo engine correct me if im wrong,

so my questions are as follows,

if i get a 5 door can i use most of the rs turbo interior like converting to electric windows and using the door cards etc

where is the best place to buy parts like lights, bumpers, you know so i can rs turbo rep it at first for example

would it be cheaper to buy a crashed or Spares or repairs rs turbo than buying the parts in bits, like interior, brakes, engine etc

thanks for your help

Hi and welcome to PF, firstly what is the reason in buying a boggo 1.4 escort and trying to make it a turbo? would be easier to buy a turbo in the first instance mate, probably not much difference in insurance costs either.

but if you put an rs turbo engine in it and all the kit you WILL have to tell them, or technically your uninsured anyway
