When i got stopped for 2 bald tyres about 2 yrs ago, he gave me some sort of form that i had to get them changed within a week, and get it stamped at an m.o.t garage for proof then take it into the cop shop, no points/fine nothing, i've never had bald tyres since but that was a good idea i thought
