Hi peeps...just wondering whether the different makes of bonnet pins make a difference? are there any differences in the cheap one and the mor expensive ones?

i need some as my bonnet opened on me on the A40 last night

reason for asking as i know there are some Ripspeed ones laying around at work that i can have but dont want them to let me down etc...
