Nothing to do with bad luck!!! he is trying to use a very powerful engine on standard transmission. I can't believe the gearbox doesn't shit itself everytime he drives it!
Be surprised if it is the rear diff though Dave. Normally standard ones are pretty strong. I've got a ZF now but never broke the standard one that was in there for years
