I have cossie management on my Series 1, and when it was first fitted i just used a standard ECU and 4x4 standard blue injectors, it didnt splutter at all, could be that you have a sensor fault somewhere, if you have an air leak on the car with cossie stuff on, it will cause the revs to rise.
