are ya sure theres not just a warant and then when ya get a tug wether driving or just drop in the station ya get a sumons

infact when i refused a court order i had the next day a memeber of the court hand me a sumons personally and he drove from southend to phisically hand it to me so i knew i was due for court

would that be the same situation when driving

cant see a letter at the last known address being enough info to disqualify you with not knowng but the way of warant would make you driving on borrowed time and then ya would get banned and as its a ban its from date of conviction so even if ya avoided it for 5 years and then got done the 12month band would be from the day ya went to court and not already delt with

i seriously cant see the court allowing to ban you whilst not present as you are not aware and so is pointless as you have not committed an offence , also theres no penalty as such as if ya get a tug 5 years later the 6 month ban would be pointless
