Fellas,
I think it only fair to say that yes, you can get banned in your absence. Usually done a "totter". All the courts have to do is send a letter out to your last known address and you are then disqualified.

It does create a lot of problems for the police and CPS when the courts do disq you in absence as it has to be proven you knew you were banned when you get caught driving.
