Default s2 rst metering head prob

last nite when driving home my car cut out, and wudnt fire agen. it turns over, but just wnt go. iv checked and iv got a gd spark, so its definitely a fuel issue.

i disconnected the fuel hose going into the metering head and wen i activated the fuel pump fuel came thru that hose. then i disconnected an injector hose frm an outlet frm the metering head, and no fuel is coming out.

so its clear iv got sum sort of blockage in the metering unit itself. im told that a float or a plunger of sum description in the unit can sumtimes stick causing no fuel to pass through. does anyone kno how to solve this problem? i cnt afford a new metering unti as iv just spent 1300 quid puttin the rs engine in my car, so if anyone can giv me a few steps as to wot to do to solve the fuel blockage it would b greatly appreciated.
