hi, recently i was having probs with my series 2. car was cutting out, overbooting, dump-valve not working/over fueling.
it turnt out all it was, was a knackered DV. Now what i have done it taken the dv off and tempory blocked up the pipe.Now since i have done this my car is running really well, no longer do i have to warm the engine for ages in the morning for it not to cut out. Im abit confussed?

could you tell me why this happens, as now im in two minds whether to get another dv.
or did i have the previous dv wired wrong, it was ran into the inlet manifold, and then t-peice to the ecu(i think, im not too hot on cars)

also what is the best dv to get(thats if u suggest to get one)
