Chap, dont do anything silly,

If you can see a point for carrying on cos your feeling that bad, just imagine the impact on the people you will leave behind.... and there will be believe me, I nearly lost my mother this way.....

If the anti depressants aren't working for you, then go back to you GP and speak with him. Apparently, you have to go through quite a few different types before you find a set that work, its trial and error.

Ultimately long term you need to seek counciling, either through the NHS which would probably be a bit cack, or privately (do a search on the Yellow pages web site for Psychotherapists www.yell.com).

There are people out there who can help you. My mother tried to take her own life about 2 years ago due to depression a) if she did she would have had a massive negative impact on our lives b) she got some private counciling and is now pretty much got her life back on track.

Hang in there bud, and find the right people to talk too.
