But us Europeans, we generally have to rely on Ford - you don't realise just how hard it is on the mainland, there is a completely different attitude to cars and modding here. I'm sure if you knew the part number, you could go to Merc, Audi, Scania or wherever and get the part that will fit - it's finding that number that is impossible. People on the parts desk have no idea and are not willing to help - an autoparts shop is even worse. They will generally throw a 1000 page catalog in front of you and tell you to find them the number People in the know are very thin on the ground, and tend to remain silent. I myself can only get Ford part numbers, by looking through the catalog, and am happy to post them up if someone asks...

Necessity is the mother of invention, it's all part of the fun IMHO.
