Been wanting to install a home network (wireless or hardwired) so my two PC's can share the same internet connectoin, files, printer and scanner.

Ive already tried the wireless NTL kit, which was no use; went to PC World (big mistake ) bought i kit which i was assured would work - only for it to not work either. I think alot of the problems are down to XP's absolutley shite driver manager

If your on NTL what do you use? Both my PC's are high specced and are well above what is required by the hardware and software specs for networks.

Anyone know any companies that will install home networks in Glasgow, or even any that could give me some decent advice? As ive spent a grand on a new computer, only to find i can't use it on the net because of this

Ive tried the usual Yellow Pages numbers, none of them seem to be interested as their more involved in companies than home IT.
