From: Bonnie Scotland !! Or offshore in Africa!!!!

It's been a while.......

Cars back, now mechanically sound and all the bodges sorted. Has a new tank from Pro Alloy in with proper lift pump etc in it. Alot of tidying in the engine bay. Some new hoses, not all have arrived yet and the post office decided to lose the current ones for a month!! Full new brake lines. John noticed that the fronts were in the block for the rears and swapped them round to the correct positions! Changed rear diff seal as it was leaking. Changed cam seals for same reason.

Swedish inlet off, tidy a bunch of wiring etc and fit the new vapour blasted inlet manifold.

Had to reuse the billet fuel rail as i fkd up and bought a 2wd fuel rail that has -6 AN fittings on it. Didnt realise they had different mounting points.I have had it for years! So if anyone has a 4x4 rail with -6 on it id buy it.

All the work done by MV turbos, i had new cam pulleys but they were rough. Managed to get some more but need to get vapour blasted before fitting or might put a cam cover on. Im missing the front head spacer for it though. Cant seem to fine a new one. Panel filter in with a bit of finessing. John even managed to get the turbo heat shield to fit which is a god send due to the heat generated in this thing

Had to pull head lining off to fix two dents in the roof i had managed to put on it when I stored it in garage. While i did that i pulled carpet out and tried to fit the escort cosworth carpet ive kept for a decade! Didnt fit very well at all and decided it wasnt as good as my original effort so it got thrown on the bin.

Roof fixed again, was extremely happy about this. Was genuinely worried that i may have fkd it.

Interior back in and headlining sorted

Taken for its first run down to my mates. Hasnt been out in at least 7 or 8 years..... maybe more.

Out and nearly ready yesterday for its first show in a long time!

Made quite an impression on the public. There was usually a good few people round it all day.

I had fitted an engine bay sticker kit to give it more of a std look

Cracking day.

A great day at the show / fayre, took the car back to my mates for dinner. Been a long time coming but enjoying the car again finally.
