There are 2 different flange ends on 4x4 prop shafts, early 4x4 saph which is the longer one, short stubby late saph / Escos, these match gearbox output flange ends along with doughnuts.
Yes mate that's right. Figured it out eventually.
Will be taking it all back off at some point and making it pretty again.
