Hi all. I have a fiesta mk8. 1.0l.
today I got the overheating warning and limp mode. Needle went to max. May I ask. May this be an issue with air condition compressor? I was going around 140kmh on an ascending road and it went into limp mode. I believe once I switched off the air con it fell almost to normal. Coolant is at max. Both coolant tubes were at normal temp and coolant was flowing when I popped the hood. I haven’t yet put with a diagnostic tool but will do some test on an uphill with both air con on and off. Any input will be appreciated as this is first time that this has happened. The car is a 2018 model with 46000 KM and well serviced.
