I think the centre push hydraulic clutch conversion is the way to go.. Years back when I still had a cable operation mine was just the same , Virtually no play at all , 1 inch or less of movement which was a nightmare in slow traffic!!! As you know the T5 is not the best for smooth gear changes so having a strong clutch which works properly is vital!!
yes mate I would imagine the hydraulic conversion is very good, my beast was 4x4 so I had the MT75 gearbox. I spent a load of money on the transmission in my car, diffs, beam, big tooth gear kit then the engine shit itself
end of era for me, broke the car and bought a mk2 Focus rs
