Christian it is/was fitted correctly mate. The original linkage was brand new last year from Ford so I knew that was okay. I have fitted these to 3 Vauxhalls and a Seat Cupra upto now and know it should be better than it is. The blue bush fits fine and the circlip is okay. I think its to do with the centering stuff under the gearstick itself. Its in bits now so I doubt the warranty people would be too happy

I have made a large nylon bush in the lathe today to fit under the collar to tighten it - so will try that next.
