so got a 2nd hand pf01 ebay now wait and fit when it comes
It will yes, the PF01 is different as it contains a switch, which is open circuit at idle.

The ECU looks for this signal to activate it's idle/overrun strategies.

Hence why I said, unplugging it would determine the idle improvement.
