Thanks for the reply. I went to my local garage and he said it is safe enough the way it is. I have drove 1200 miles since and no wheel nuts came loose. I was passing by an alloy shop yesterday and he said wheel nut needs to turn on at least 7 times ( mine were on 5) so I bought 20 wheel nuts there for €40 and they twist on 9 times now.. not sure if the old nuts were safe or not but it is certainly a lot safer now. €40 is cheap if it stops an accident.
