they may not be visible, it could of just passed its emissions and mot without them, I honestly don’t see what the big fuss is.
Even if a tester has passed it knowing it doesn’t have cats on it’s not the end of the world is it!
Your comments about dodgy back street mot testers cracks me up lol.
Best way is go look at a car and judge it for yourself instead of thinking the worst just based off the amount of owners it’s had and it having the cats removed.
modded cars are sometimes in better condition than standard ‘normal’ cars....
