This week at the shop. after 4 years since its last detail and dozens of maintenance washes and a few bush scratches gained, Peter the owner decided it was time for a refresh, we started out thinking that a pretty light 2 stage polish would bring the paint back to life but having to wet flat most of the deep scratches out soon changed the tune of the polishing, it now became a personal challenge to create the best finish that this car had ever had, this would end up having mostly 4 stages of machine polishing but 5 stages to the flatted areas, once the polishing was done to my satisfaction the car was coated with Gtechniq Serum Light and after this had cured, a coat of Gtechniq Exo was applied, this would now give years of paint protection to the car and make it far easier to wash and maintain.
