Work backwards from the metering unit, check ALL vacuum lines for splits etc or loose jubille clips, make sure the gasksets at the throttle body and inlet are all good and that the inlet itself is torqued properly.
Would be easier to test with a running car, but guess we just need to work with what you've got.
Got it all checked mate all good , gaskets old but really good nick and got all the hoses off although some were a real pain lol. whats next?cheers.
