Thats how mine started of, but when it was done like that it was the in thing. Not my cuppa tea but i do appreciate other people's for the work, time and effort to achieve it.
Everyone has different tastes as to how they want their engine bay to look, the standard look has never been to my liking and I prefer the shiny look. Anyone that would make a big fuss about you not having the "correct" colour rocker cover would not bother me one bit.
My engine bay which suits me fine!
