if you re talking about starter it s high current my amm metre (hall effect) reads to 30a and it's maxed out on "click" then drops to around 20ish amps on a small 1.2l clio so a higher compression engie or bigger cc more current.
on a 1.8l endura diesel it stays maxed out all the time selfstarter spins.
if it's for the starting solenoid it's lower current 10 ish or whereabouts i think, but never tested that
