Basic Pinto info...
Apologies if this is in the wrong place (I did have a search but thought it easier to post a new thread..!)
I'm about to recondition a 1.6 Pinto. This, with Type 3 gearbox, will be going into a kit car i'm building. It's only getting a very basic tidy up, the only real change I will make is to fit a different sump.
I see that the 2ltr/205 Pintos are by far the most popular. Is there anything different about a 1.6 I need to be aware of? Or are all Pinto blocks the same on the outside, just bored and stroked differently?
