Normally it's the upper belt that gets done and the bottom one is forgotten about. Even if it's a chain it still needs changing at the same interval. I had both done on my old Mondeo, it was a ciuple of years ago now but i think the cost was getting on for a grand!
Exactly, which is why I can't understand why you would want to change from a belt to chain, as your not gaining anything!

Lots of them will spill their guts before 100k.
I can never understand why they specify 100k for a cambelt either.
